Chintsa East is located in the Wild Coast Jikeleza Region, just a 40 min drive from East London Airport. Take the N2 in the direction of Mhtata and turn right after about 28 km at the sign Cintsa Mouth. Proceed along this (Schafli loop) road, past the left turn to Tainton until you come to the signs left for Cintsa East, Cefani Mouth, Xanadu. This tarred road will take you to a low bridge and thereafter 4 km of new tarred road to the village. The alternative route is by the East Coast Resorts' Road, onto the lower end of Schafli Road until the signs for Cintsa East where the turn is to the right.
